How Effective is the GlamGlow Vegan Mud Mask?

GlamGlow Vegan Mask Review

GlamGlow beauty trio review

After reading many rave reviews about the GlamGlow mask. Specifically, the silver one that turns from white to chrome when it dries and tightens skin. Then a firming one with glitter in it which could not be good for the environment.  Since my skin has been freaking out due to all the mask-wearing, I snagged the Glam Glow trio from Sephora. Lucky for me, this trio was on super sale at Sephora after Christmas! I must say getting three for the price of one was the main appeal to me. A 1.7 oz jar goes for 60.00 normally, and I snagged the limited edition set for 35.

The GlamGlow Supermud mask itself made with kaolin clay, activated charcoal to draw all the impurities out of your pores, eucalyptus which extracts oils and the 6 acids (Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Tartaric Acid, and Pyruvic Acid).

First impressions the smell of the mask is a little strong, definitely from the eucalyptus mixing with the acids. This product is vegan and free of parabens so I love that! I did feel some tingling as I put the mask on. Once it dried it turned light gray and I could feel my skin tightening. Which personally I love. Who doesn’t love acne-free, skin with less fine lines and wrinkles?

Once I washed off this mask my skin did feel a little thirsty, and tight. I will say my skin did seem brighter after.

The face wash goes on similar to the mask. The packaging says to add water and it should go from cream to foam, however, it never foamed when I tried so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I finished off with the GlamGlow illuminating moisturizer which smells delightful. This illuminator has jojoba oil, green tea and shea butter. It did leave an illuminating glow on my skin and rehydrate it.

I must say the next day the few bumps I had come to the surface as whiteheads and were easily wiped away with my washcloth in the morning. My skin looked more even in tone, and my previous blemishes were completely flat.

Overall I would recommended this product and I found a couple on Amazon for under 45. You can find the GlamGlow Super Mud and GlamGlow GravityMud Firming.

Is there a miracle skincare product you swear by when your breaking out?

    1. That’s awful! So people said it burned and made their skin red. It didn’t do this to me and I’m sensitive/combination. Thank you for sharing! Was there a different brand or product that worked for you? 😀
